Hello! My name is Kimberly Spence. I am a Denton, TX based photographer and special fx makeup artist. I specialize in portraits, weddings, events, landscape and fx makeup photography. I am available for both private sessions and events.

As your photographer, let's get to know each other a little better. You should know one thing about me - I like Halloween - no, I LOVE it. In 2008, as I was preparing what my Halloween costume would be, I came up with the idea that it was going to be my absolute best one yet. I decided that I was going to be the most convincing zombie that I could be. To do that, I researched what professionals used to make all the fx, in my favorite movies, a reality. In that moment, everything changed. I not only transformed myself into an awesome zombie, but I discovered a love for special fx makeup.

Photography entered this love fest when I started to use my friends as a canvas for my special fx makeup endeavors. I wanted my work to be displayed the way I felt it deserved. So, I went out and bought my first professional camera and never looked back. My passion for photography took over and the rest was history. I went from only photographing my special fx makeup to doing portraits, landscapes, pets and events. 

My passion for photography has continued to grow and I have absolutely loved the people I’ve been able to meet along the way, the families I’ve connected with and the moments I’ve been able to capture.
